How to Stop Update Links Dialog Box in Excel

In Microsoft Excel, while opening any excel workbook sometimes you might get update link window as shown in the below picture. It might keep on disturb you whenever opening the files.

Or sometimes you will get an information above to the formula bar as shown in the below picture.

There are two methods to stop update link window in excel.

Method 1:

Go to menu bar and click File->Options, a window will appear as shown in the below picture. Then click Trust Center->Trust Center Settings button on right side. Change the option to Disable automatic update of workbook links.

Method 2:

Go to menu bar and click File->Options, a window will appear as shown in the below picture. Then click Advanced option from the left side bar and go to General and uncheck Ask to update automatic links option to stop it.
